Pasta With Creamy Cauliflower Sauce, Roasted Tomatoes & Basil (Delicious Knowledge)--> Cauliflower sauce sounds horribly unappealing and bland, but you'll be shocked at how creamy and delicious it is. The perfect vegan stand-in for alfredo sauce!
Avocado Pistachio Mint Pesto (Indian Simmer) --> Add avocado for basically the creamiest pesto ever.
Lobster Burgers with Browned Butter Lemon Aioli, Basil Corn Salsa, Bacon & Avocado (Half Baked Harvest) --> Some people say lobster is best served simply with nothing but melted butter. They are wrong.

Classic Cashew Cheese, Three Ways (Nutrition Stripped) --> Y'all know my love of cashew cheese. But truffle cashew cheese?? I'm in heaven.
Danish Summer Cream with Strawberries and Lemon Cardamom Biscuits (My New Roots) --> How perfect is this for a summer breakfast? These pictures made me want to rent a cottage in Maine and eat this every day!

No Really, You Have Time To Eat Better (Summer Tomato) --> If you find yourself making excuses for not eating healthy, read this article. I promise, it's not the guilt trip the title implies!
8 Things Nutrition Experts Wish You Would Stop Saying About Food (Huffington Post) --> Most of these are pretty on point. I've already shared my thoughts on labeling food good or bad and carbohydrates, but I'm totally guilty of overusing the term "clean!"
6 Tips for Traveling with Dietary Restrictions (The Kitchn) --> Going out to eat is one of my favorite parts of travel, but for people with food allergies and intolerances, it's just a source of stress. These tips require a little extra work and planning, but they'll save you lots of hassle and headache.
Exercising to Lose Weight Might Lead to Gain Instead (Weighty Matters) --> I can't overstate the importance of exercise, but if you're trying to lose weight, it's just a piece of the puzzle.
Breakfast Bombshell: Vitamin Overload In Cereals May Be Making Kids Sick (Take Part)--> Fortification with vitamins and minerals is thought of as a good thing, but in supplement form, they act very differently in our body than the nutrients found in food. Try my cherry oat breakfast cereal for real food vitamins!
Soccer Joy (National Geographic) --> Sharing these beautiful pictures of homemade soccer balls in Africa in honor of World Cup. We're all excited about soccer finally taking off here in America, but can you imagine a child making a ball out of an inflated condom and yarn? We are truly blessed.

  2. I thought that article "8 Things Nutrition Experts With You Would Stop Saying About Food" was so spot on- sometimes it's hard to think about food without labeling it or calling it clean eating, but we do create different mindsets by doing that!

    1. Oh I know! It's such an easy term to use but I had never thought of the opposite connotation about dirty food.
